My name is Julie Waldman, I have lived in the Columbia Gorge since 2004. My learning journey has not always been smooth sailing which has ignited a passion in me to help people with dyslexia learn to read.

I can fully appreciate the struggle students with learning differences face day to day. My approach to every student regardless of age is to hold an open, judgment-free space where they are free to make mistakes, learn and excel. My learning challenges help me to connect and empathize with the dyslexic brain. All people should have a place where they feel relaxed and safe to learn at their own pace.

Dyslexia is an island of weakness surrounded by a sea of strengths.”
